Thundercat Sports 2008

Thundercat Sports is a local organization that runs summer programs, after school/weekend youth sports clinics, birthday parties, and more! The sport programs run unique skill based programs focusing exclusively on our target age group, which is kids approximately 5 - 14 years old.Thundercat Sports Philosophy is that learning sports skills and having FUN do not have to be mutually exclusive! Thundercat's teaching techniques maxamize learning and fun while keeping kids very active. They aim to teach fundamental skills through active learning and participation while striving to create an atmosphere that will enrich each child's sports experience. Thundercat achieves this by providing an exciting curriculum and enthusiastic well trained instructors. Thundercat Summer Sports Jam:
The Sports Jam is the ultimate multi-sport program! The program is co-ed, and every participant receives a Thundercat ball and T-shirt. Sports that are included into this program include:
* Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer, Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Volleyball, Badminton, Dodge ball, Disc Golf, Ultimate Frisbee, Kick ball, Team handball, Whiffle ball, and more!
* Unique games such as "Shark Attack" and "Safari" will also be played.

Dates: June 30th - July 3rd 2008

Levels and Times of Play:

Baseball:
From running the bases to developing a sweet swing, kids will learn and improve their skills through active baseball drills and games. Kids often will be broken down into smaller groups to offer more touches, experience, and FUN! Theme days, trivia, and a World Series tournament at the end of the program add to the excitement! The program is co-ed, and every participant receives a Thundercat baseball and T-shirt!

Soccer:
Participants will learn fundamental skills from coaches through unique drills, games, and teaching techniques. The skills taught will include dribbling, passing, shooting, receiving, and more! Theme days, trivia, and a World Cup tournament at the end of the program add to the excitement! The program is coed, and every participant receives a Thundercat soccer ball and T-shirt.

Whether your child is a beginner or a buzzer beater this is the basketball program for him or her. The skills emphasized will be dribbling, ball handling, passing, shooting, and more. Theme days, trivia, and a NCAA tournament at the end of the program add to the excitement! The program is co-ed, and every participant receives a Thundercat basketball and T-shirt!

Throw it, catch it, punt it ... pigskins beware! Participants will learn fundamental skills from coaches through unique drills, games, and teaching techniques. The skills taught will include passing, catching, running, offensive / defensive strategies, and more. Theme days, trivia, and a Super Bowl tournament at the end of the program add to the excitement! The program is co-ed, and every participant receives a Thundercat football and T-shirt.
