Summer Programs
Summer programs are typically held through June / July / August each year, although some programs or program sessions may vary, starting earlier or running later in the season.

SUMMER CLUB at the Connors Center
We will be back at The Connors Center for another year of giving you all the summer fun you can imagine... From arts & crafts to field games, group challenges and activities to walks along the Charles River bank and along beautiful wooded trails - at #DoverRec Summer Club, your child is sure to love every creative and unique day as they make forever memories with friends and our amazing summer staff!

Location: The Connors Center (20 Glen Street, Dover)

Costs: $150/ participant/ 5-day session (Sessions 1, 3, 4 and 5)
$120/ participant/ 4-day session (Session 6)
$90/ participant/ 3-day session (Session 2)

Summer Club EXTENDED DAY
All the fun of Summer Club, for a few extra hours when you need it!
EXTENDED Times: 12:00 - 3:00pm
In order to attend Extended Day, participants MUST be registered for, and attending, the coinciding, regular day session. NOTE: EXTENDED DAY IS NEVER OFFERED ON FRIDAYS.

EXTENDED Session 2: WEDNESDAY*, JULY 5 & THURSDAY , JULY 6
*CLOSED on Monday 7/3 AND Tuesday 7/4
EXTENDED Session 3: MONDAY, JULY 10 - THURSDAY , JULY 13
EXTENDED Session 4: MONDAY, JULY 17 - THURSDAY , JULY 20

THERE IS NO EXTENDED DAY ON FRIDAYS!
Cost: $25/ participant/ individual day
Register for any full session of Extended Day and receive a 10% discount! (per child)
Summer Club Counselor (paid position) Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be a current resident of Dover, MA
- Must be at least 16 years old by first training session (usually in the week prior to the first week of camp)
- Requires a commitment to work on all weekdays from 8:40am-12:40pm, forall six, consecutive weeks of camp. (which will be held from Monday, June 26 - Friday, August 4, 2023. (closed on Monday 7/3 and Tuesday 7/4, in observance of the holiday)

In order to be considered for a paid counselor position in summer 2023, your fully completed application packet must be submitted to Nicole Wainwright PRIOR TO MONDAY APRIL 3, 2023 at 5:00PM.

Students ages 14+ who are interested in volunteering for school credit (ie. unpaid), should visit our Volunteer Opportunities page
There you will find details on our various community service opportunities, including our Summer 2023 Leadership Training Program, which is a volunteer opportunity available exclusively as part of our annual summer program season!
Leadership Training Program Volunteer (unpaid position) Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be a current resident of Dover, MA
- Must be at least 14 years old by first training session (usually in the week prior to the first week of camp)
- Requires a two-week minimum commitment, on weekdays from 8:45am-12:15pm, during the Summer Club season - held from Monday, June 26 - Friday, August 4, 2023. (closed on Monday 7/3 and Tuesday 7/4, in observance of Independance Day)

TENNIS CLINICS
These instructional clinics are available to all ages, abilities & levels of tennis experience, with a focus on comprehensive, all-around tennis skill advancement to help players grow their game throughout each session!
Please Note: Tennis Clinics are held Mondays-Thursdays only* with Fridays used as an inclement weather make-up day if required, as there is no indoor program location.

SUMMER T-BALL
In this introduction to Baseball, players will initially practice proper swing off a 'T', but will then move onto coach-pitched balls to prepare them for future league play. Additional focus will be on learning proper catching and fielding technique of both thrown and hit balls, base-running strategy and applying good sportsmanship on and off the field!
Program includes varied amounts of practice and game play each week, depending on the current lesson.
Ages: rising Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Location: Chickering Playfields - Baseball Diamond
Led By: Coach Pete Sylvester
