DOVER DAYS FAIR 

(held annually on the second Saturday of September)

This annual Dover tradition is back to kick off the fall season with our wonderful community, again!

Meet the owners of many local businesses and members of various Town organizations and several state representatives. Bring the whole family along and enjoy food, games and fun all together - the Dover Days Fair is enjoyable for all ages!

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2023

10:00am - 3:00pm

(rain date: Sunday 9/10 from 12 - 5pm)

FREE for general attendees! 

2023 VENDOR RATES 

PLEASE NOTE: AFTER 1:00PM ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 12th, A $10 LATE FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL RESERVATIONS. 

VENDOR REGISTRATION WILL END ONCE AVAILABLE SPACES HAVE FILLED  -OR-  AT 5:00PM ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 31st, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST, WITHOUT EXCEPTION! 

DOVER RESIDENT Vendors:

• Booth Space ONLY (NO electricity)

  • EARLY BIRD RATE, June 1 - August 11:   $35/space
    • AFTER August 11 - August 31:   $45/space

• Booth Space WITH ELECTRICITY (provided via access to a GAS-POWERED GENERATOR) 

  • EARLY BIRD RATE, June 1 - August 11:   $65/space with generator 
    • AFTER August 11 - August 31:   $75/space with generator

NON-RESIDENT Vendors:

• Booth Space ONLY (NO electricity)

Dover Days:

Dover-Sherborn High School Cross Country Team

DOVER DASH 5K & FUN RUN!

Held annually in conjunction with the Dover Days Fair, the Dover Dash 5K & Fun Run are fully organized and managed by the students and coaches of the Dover-Sherborn High School Cross-Country Team. 

Run to help support youth running programs in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere - then enjoy the Dover Days Fair after your race!

*Walkers and baby strollers are both welcome in the 5K event.* 

Race / Ages / Start Times:

• FUN RUN       ages 3 - 9 years old           10:00am start
• 5K                    ages 8+                               10:30am start

Registration for the 2023 races will become available on RaceWire sometime during the summer

HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST

Who is ready for our SPOOK-TACULAR annual costume contest?!? 

Our annual @doverrecma virtual Halloween Costume Constest is underway - so send those spooky, fun, sweet and unique Halloween costume photos in!

FREE TO ENTER

1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded in each of the following five categories:

• BABY'S / TODDLER'S & PRESCHOOLERS

• KINDERGARTEN  -  2nd GRADERS

• 3rd - 5th GRADERS

• 6th - 8th GRADERS

• FAMILIES / GROUPS

The final deadline to enter the competition is on Sunday October 30th, BUT ALL ENTRIES RECEIVED BY FRIDAY OCTOBER 28th WILL WIN A FREE HALLOWEEN PRIZE PACK along with their entry to win a Best Costume trophy! 

ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY POSTS @DOVERRECMA on HALLOWEEN DAY, MONDAY OCTOBER 31st!

3rd annual

PUMPKIN DECORATING PARTY!

Dover residents are invited to join us for an afternoon of costumes, music and pumpkin decorating on the Dover Town Common!

DJ Jimmy's Halloween-themed playlist will fill the air with *fun* as costumed children decorate their own pumpkins, participate in musical contests (with silly prizes!) AND collect goodie-bags filled with Halloween treats and cool DoverRec surprises!

COST:  $6/child (includes 1 pumpkin)

FLAG FOOTBALL TURKEY BOWL!

Join DoverRec and Coach Pete in our second annual Thanksgiving Flag Football games to celebrate Thanksgiving and DSHS Athletics as they prepare to face-off against epic rival, Medfield in their annual Thanksgiving Day football game!

P&R staff will pick up all players directly from school following the early release. We will first walk all together down to Chickering Fields and eat lunch as a group, then will begin the series of flag football games!
