Director of Parks & Recreation
Mark Ghiloni

Mark Ghiloni is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where he received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and a Master of Science degree in Sport Administration. He is a member of the Massachusetts Recreation Park Association and Metro West Representative to the Executive Board. Mark is also a member of the National Recreation & Park Association and is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP). In August of 2015, he graduated from the NRPA Director’s School at the Oglebay Conference and Training Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Mark worked in the Sports and Recreation department at the West Suburban YMCA in Newton, MA for five years before joining the Dover Parks and Recreation team in November, 2012 as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation. He was promoted to Director in 2017. While not at work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Susan, daughter Abigail, and his family. When not spending time with family, you can find him on a local golf course.

Nicole Wainwright joined the Dover Parks & Recreation team in September, 2017.
Nicole grew up “next door” in Needham and worked for ten years as the Recreation Supervisor of the Town of Needham P&R Department and as coordinator of the Hillside Elementary School (now Sunita Williams) extended day program.
Nicole continues to bring innovative programs to the town for both the younger members of the community as well as adults and seniors looking to remain active!
When Nicole’s not planning next season’s offerings in the office, or out hiking and making art with our many DoverRec families, you can find her with her Border Collie mix, Ziya and her family in East Falmouth.

Beth McGuire, the newest member of the Parks & Recreation team, joined our office in December, 2019.
A resident of Dover and mother of two DS students, Beth has also worked in part-time and temporary positions in the Dover Town House as part of both the Town Clerk, Assessors’ and Board of Selectmen offices. She brings previous administrative, programming, and fundraising experience from the years she worked at the Evanston Public Library and the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. Beth holds a BA in Anthropology from Marquette University and a MA in Dance Studies from York University in Toronto.
